We are currently recruiting for a SEN School in the Derby area, for leaning Suu[ort Assistants to work on a day to day, part-time and a long-term basis. In particular, we are keen to recruit those with experience of working with children and young people with Autism, learning difficulties and challenging behaviour.

For this role you must have:

  • Experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Knowledge and experience of working with young people with Autism
  • Have the ability to work both on a 1:1 basis with pupils as well as support the teacher with the whole class
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Leaning in Schools preferred but not essential
  • Car driver preferred, however it is not essential
